Futuremongering is all about trying to take the present and use it to create a future that’s better for all of us, by pushing the boundaries of social systems, politics, technology, science, medicine, art, economics, and life itself.
This blog is dedicated to that ideal: Trying to help create a better future.
With that in mind, this blog will tend to be very progressivistic and liberal and futurist, possibly even controversially so. Things will be said and speculated on that are not normally broached. Views will be taken that escape the boundaries of current left-vs-right politics. Black and white issues will be painted not only in shades of grey, but in colors of red and violet and green, possibly even hues of ultraviolet. Things will get weird. You will be made to think. And always, it will come back to the goal: To help create a better future.
